Cities are rich sources for different categories of data: health, economic, social, environmental, demographic, and more. Through analysis, such information can provide insight, perspectives and stories about people and places. However, data often remains tied to singular issues or stays undiscovered. The City Data Connector publishes information about data focused on Nottingham and the East Midlands in a way that encourages cross-disciplinary exploration, aggregation, linkage, and other secondary uses.

Users can search and filter the listed datasets in several ways (for example by geographic coverage, keywords, or access rights). We encourage you to think about how these datasets might provide additional context for your own research or answer questions about the city and region, its strengths and its challenges.
